Sebastian Amberg

Sebastian Amberg, M.Sc. in Applied Geosciences, started his doctoral studies at the Institute of Geology and Geochemistry of Petroleum and Coal in May 2019. In his DFG sponsored project he investigates the effect of ice loading on sedimentary basins and the carbon cycle with a focus on the Netherlands, Germany and the Barents Sea.

On 01.11.2020 Mrs. Christina Schwanen started her PhD in the Organic Environmental Geochemistry Group. Mrs. Schwanen is a scholarship holder of the RWTH Graduate School and will work on the dynamics and the complex environmental behaviour of organic pollutants in the river system Rur.
